For students living outside these areas, the Program clinical team will work diligently to establish rotations in other regions, but this may not be possible for some or all of the rotations. Currently, we have established all required rotations in Southern California and Texas.
Clinical ExperiencesĪs a part of the MPA CA Program, students will complete nine in-person 5-week clinical rotations. Our state-of-the-art facilities, located in Los Angeles, Ca., is equipped with spacious study areas indoors and outdoors, collaborative learning spaces to connect with faculty and colleagues, and an inpatient and outpatient clinical simulation space designed for active learning. Students will be using high-fidelity manikins that incorporate the latest technology – programmed to mimic real-life patient scenarios. Our program is designed around providing hands-on practical experiences in a new, modern clinical simulation learning space. Learn in an environment that emphasizes person-centric care, interprofessional education, collaboration, communication, and leadership development. Our interactive-learning environment emphasizes interprofessional clinical experiences along with an online learning modality. Our MPA program offers a hybrid curriculum that combines medical learning in a hybrid delivery modality with dynamic and diverse online, on campus, and clinical site experiences.
